Lismore City Council cyclone guide¶
Lismore City Council is the local council for the Lismore area of northern New South Wales, including Goonellabah. Council says it is a member of the Northern Rivers Local Emergency Management Committee and runs a Disaster Dashboard for local flood, fire, and health events, power outages, and road closures. For a life threatening emergency call 000, and for flood or storm help call the SES on 132 500.

Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Evacuation centres are run by emergency services and are announced for each event. Do not assume any centre is open. Follow Hazards Near Me and official announcements.
