Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Council says to move to the designated evacuation centre as outlined in the evacuation warning or order, and to check the warning for the location. Do not assume any centre is open. Follow Hazards Near Me and official announcements.
