Spartanburg County hurricane guide¶
The Spartanburg County Office of Emergency Services, created in 2022, brings together the former Emergency Management and fire coordination functions. Its Emergency Management division runs the Emergency Operations Center, the CERT program, and a special medical needs registry. The county site did not post county-specific hurricane or evacuation guidance on the pages checked. Register for county alerts and follow them for storm instructions.

Spartanburg County did not publish a standing list of hurricane shelters on the pages checked. Shelters open only when the county announces them, so do not go to a site until it is announced. Check the county's alerts and website for open shelters.
