Twiggs County hurricane guide¶
The Twiggs County Emergency Management Agency leads and coordinates work to prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and man-made disasters. Its director is also the fire chief. Twiggs County is inland in middle Georgia along I-16, so wind, tornadoes, and flooding from tropical systems are the main hazards.
