Cook County hurricane guide

The Cook County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) works with EMS, E-911, police, the Sheriff, and fire departments on mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. The county lists tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, lightning, floods, winter storms, and wildfires as its main natural hazards. Cook is inland in south Georgia and has a CodeRED alert signup linked from its Emergency Management page.
