Jeff Davis County hurricane guide¶
Jeff Davis County, in the Davis Mountains of West Texas, does not publish an emergency management page or alert signup on its county website. In Texas the County Judge directs county emergency management. The courthouse is at 100 Court Avenue, Fort Davis. As an inland, mountain county, flash flooding is the main hazard that can come from the remains of a tropical storm.
