Davie County hurricane guide¶
Davie County Emergency Services, in Mocksville, includes the county's Emergency Management division and links preparedness information on its Emergency Management page. This is an inland Piedmont county with no storm surge evacuation zones. Sign up for Davie County's Hyper-Reach emergency notifications before a storm. The sign-up form has a special needs box for people who would need special assistance during an evacuation.

Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Davie County does not publish a list of shelters on its website. Sign up for Hyper-Reach alerts and watch county announcements for information about shelters, and do not go to a site until it is announced.
Cities and towns¶
Each city has its own services and some have their own alerts. The county's evacuation zones, evacuation centers, and emergency alerts cover everyone, in every city and in unincorporated areas.
