Sevier County hurricane guide

The Sevier County Emergency Management Agency (SCEMA) plans for and coordinates the response to natural and man-made hazards in the county, and runs free emergency preparedness programs including CERT volunteer training. Sevier County is inland and mountainous, so storm risks come from flooding, flash flooding, landslides, and wind, including from the remains of tropical storms. The county's EMA page says the Incident Command Team decides which areas must evacuate, based on the incident. Sign up for the county's Code Red alerts.
