McKean County hurricane guide¶
The McKean County Emergency Management Agency, part of the county Department of Emergency Services, coordinates emergency services and volunteer agencies and supports county and local governments in disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. The county posts its 2019 hazard mitigation plan, which includes flood vulnerability maps for each municipality. The county pages do not publish an alert signup or shelter list, so check local announcements during a storm.
