Rockdale hurricane guide¶

Rockdale is a city in southern Milam County, far inland from the coast. Tropical storms that move inland can still bring heavy rain, flooding, strong winds, and tornadoes. The city has its own police department and runs the city water and wastewater system.

What to know in Rockdale¶

• The Rockdale Police Department tests the city siren at noon on the first day of each month with a 20-tone signal. In a real emergency, the siren sounds a long wail.
