Cumberland County hurricane guide¶
The Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency (CCEMA) supports the county's towns and cities before, during, and after large disasters, and says it works for fire, flood, and other hazards. Maine Emergency Management says the coastal areas of Cumberland and York counties are the most likely in the state to suffer erosion from storms, because they have more beach and less high rocky coastline.
