Highland County hurricane guide¶
The Highland County Department of Emergency Management works with agencies across the region to prepare for human-caused and natural disasters. Highland is a mountain county, and the county's emergency page does not publish hurricane evacuation or shelter details. Subscribe to the county's E-Alerts before a storm and call the Sheriff's Office for local questions.
