Briarcliff hurricane guide¶
Briarcliff is a small village in the Hill Country on the south shore of Lake Travis, about 30 miles west of Austin, far from the coast. Tropical storms can bring flash flooding and tornadoes here. Travis County Constables and the Travis County Sheriff's Office provide law enforcement, the Pedernales Fire Department (ESD 8) provides fire and emergency service, and the village runs the water system.
