Keller hurricane guide¶
Keller is a city in northeast Tarrant County, on Bear Creek. Tropical storms that reach North Texas can bring heavy rain, flash flooding, high winds, and tornadoes. The city has its own police and fire departments, and the fire chief serves as the city's emergency management coordinator.

What to know in Keller¶
- Keller says Bear Creek can rise to dangerous levels in as little as one hour. Stay away from creeks and low-water crossings in heavy rain, and never go around a barricade. You can be fined for driving around one.
- Keller has 11 outdoor warning sirens, three with voice messages. They are meant for people outdoors, so do not wait for a siren if you are inside. Turn on TV, radio, or a NOAA Weather Radio.
