Euless hurricane guide¶
Euless is a city in northeast Tarrant County. Tropical storms that reach North Texas can bring heavy rain, flash flooding, high winds, and tornadoes. The city has its own police and fire departments, and its Office of Emergency Management is part of the police department.

What to know in Euless¶
- Euless says its CodeRED alert system has been down since November because of a national cybersecurity incident, and the city is changing systems. Until then, the city asks residents to follow local TV, radio, and apps, and to turn on Wireless Emergency Alerts on their phones.
- Euless has seven outdoor warning sirens. They are not designed to be heard indoors. The city recommends a NOAA Weather Radio.
