Matador hurricane guide¶
Matador is the Motley County seat, on the rolling plains east of Lubbock and far from the coast. The remains of tropical storms can still bring heavy rain, flash flooding, and tornadoes. The city runs its own water, sewer, and landfill services and posts service alerts on its website.
