Camp County hurricane guide¶
In Camp County, the County Judge's Office in Pittsburg leads emergency management, as Texas law makes the County Judge the county's emergency management director. The county is in Northeast Texas, far from the coast, but the remains of tropical storms can bring heavy rain, flooding, strong winds, and tornadoes. Register for the county's Smart911 alerts and never drive through flooded roads.
