Cherokee County hurricane guide¶

Cherokee County Emergency Management works from the Emergency Operations Center at 213 Alma Street in Gaffney. Cherokee County is in the Upstate, so its storm risks are heavy rain and flooding, high winds, and tornadoes. The county has an emergency alert registration page on its Regroup notification system and lists its Local Emergency Planning Committee and hazard mitigation plan.
