Franklin hurricane guide

Franklin is the county seat of Macon County, in the mountains. Remnants of hurricanes can bring flash flooding, landslides, fallen trees, and closed roads. The town has its own police department and runs water and sewer service, and its emergency alert signup uses the Macon County CodeRED system listed on the county page.
