Hunterdon County hurricane guide

The Hunterdon County Division of Emergency Management is part of the county Department of Public Safety in Flemington and acts as liaison between the municipal emergency management offices and the State Office of Emergency Management. The county sends emergency alerts through its Citizen Alert system and Nixle. Hunterdon County is inland, so flooding along rivers and creeks and high winds are the main storm concerns, and the county's hurricane page advises learning your property's flood risk and your community's evacuation routes.
