Natchez hurricane guide

Natchez sits on high bluffs above the Mississippi River in southwest Mississippi. It has no storm surge, but tropical storms can bring heavy rain, flooding, high winds, tornadoes, and many fallen trees. The city has its own police and fire departments, and Natchez Water Works runs the water system.
