Youngsville hurricane guide¶
Youngsville is a fast growing city in southern Lafayette Parish. Hurricanes can bring strong wind, heavy rain, flooding, and long power outages here. The city has its own police department and volunteer fire department, and it provides water, sewer, and garbage service for most homes.

What to know in Youngsville¶
- The city picks up branches and household debris on a set schedule. Put branches at the curb the Sunday before pickup, cut to 4 feet or less and stacked apart from other debris, with leaves bagged. If you miss pickup, you can bring vegetation to 310 Railroad St on weekdays, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. After a storm, watch city announcements for any changes.
