DeQuincy hurricane guide¶
DeQuincy is a small city in the far north of Calcasieu Parish, surrounded by pine and hardwood forest. Hurricanes that reach this far inland can still bring high winds, falling trees, heavy rain, and long power outages. The city has its own police department and a volunteer fire department.
