Toombs County hurricane guide¶
Toombs County alerts are sent by the Toombs County EMA or E911 through CodeRED, including National Weather Service severe thunderstorm, tornado, and flash flood warnings. Toombs County is inland, so wind, tornadoes, and flooding from tropical systems are the main hazards. The county site does not publish an EMA office number, so call 911 in an emergency.
