Clinch County hurricane guide¶
The Clinch County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is run by the EMA Director and plans for, responds to, and recovers from natural and manmade hazards, and keeps the county emergency operations plan. Clinch County is inland, in south Georgia. Sign up for Hyper-Reach alerts before a storm, because the county uses it to reach residents.

Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Clinch County does not publish a list of hurricane shelters on its website. Call the EMA at 912-487-3700 or watch Hyper-Reach alerts for shelter announcements, and do not go to a site until it is announced as open.
Cities and towns¶
Each city has its own services and some have their own alerts. The county's evacuation zones, evacuation centers, and emergency alerts cover everyone, in every city and in unincorporated areas.
