Highland Park hurricane guide¶
Highland Park is a very small village just south of Lake Wales, with fewer than 300 residents and two lakes, Lake Amoret and Lake Easy. The village treats and supplies its own water, and Polk County Solid Waste collects trash under a contract with the village. Hurricanes here bring high winds, tornadoes, flooding, and long power outages.
