South Palm Beach hurricane guide¶
South Palm Beach is a small barrier island town about five eighths of a mile long, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, with the Town of Palm Beach to the north and Lantana to the south. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (District 19) provides police service.

What to know in South Palm Beach¶
- The town says people who live on an upper floor and depend on an elevator should plan to evacuate, because many building elevators stop in a power outage or run out of generator fuel.
- Sheriff's deputies are on duty in town around the clock. To reach the deputy on duty in person, use the video call box by the lobby entrance on the south side of Town Hall.
