Port St. Joe hurricane guide¶
Port St. Joe is the county seat of Gulf County, on the shore of St. Joseph Bay. Low areas near the bay face storm surge, so look up your evacuation zone and leave when it is called. The city has its own police department and runs water and sewer service for the city and several nearby beach communities.

What to know in Port St. Joe¶
- City water and sewer also serve St. Joe Beach, WindMark Beach, Highland View, parts of Cape San Blas, Beacon Hill, and Overstreet. Boil water notices for large areas go out by CodeRED.
- Report trees down or branches in the road to Public Works during working hours, or to 850-227-1115 after hours and on holidays.
