Monroe County hurricane guide

The Monroe County Emergency Management Agency, at 65 N. Alabama Ave. in Monroeville, coordinates storm response for the county. Monroe County is inland in southwest Alabama and has no storm surge evacuation zones, but tropical storms can still bring flooding, high winds, and tornadoes. The county's EMA app posts weather updates and road closures.
