Elba hurricane guide

Elba, a Coffee County seat, sits where Whitewater Creek meets the Pea River in the Wiregrass. Heavy rain from a hurricane or tropical storm can bring river and flash flooding, along with strong wind, falling trees, and tornadoes. The city has its own police department and volunteer fire department.
