Heflin hurricane guide

Heflin is the county seat of Cleburne County in northeast Alabama, at the edge of the southern Appalachian Mountains. When a hurricane or tropical storm passes, the main dangers are strong wind, falling trees, flash flooding, and tornadoes. The city has its own police department and a volunteer fire department.
