Piedmont hurricane guide¶
Piedmont is an inland city in Calhoun County that also reaches into Cherokee County. The main dangers when a hurricane or tropical storm passes are strong wind, falling trees, power outages, flash flooding, and tornadoes. The city has its own police and fire departments and runs its own electric, water, natural gas, and sewer utilities.
