Harrisburg hurricane guide¶
Harrisburg is a town in western Cabarrus County, near Charlotte. When a tropical storm reaches the area, the main dangers are creek flooding, high winds, fallen trees, and power outages. The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office provides police service, with deputies assigned full time to the town, and the town runs its own fire department and water and sewer system.
