What to know in Melbourne Beach¶
- If you stay after an evacuation order, police, fire, and ambulance service will not be available once winds reach 35 mph.
- Do not prune trees or put bulky waste on the right of way before a storm. Afterward, place large debris piles on your own right of way, away from fences, mailboxes, drains, and power lines, and never on a vacant lot.
- The City of Melbourne supplies the town's water and sends precautionary boil water notices through AlertBrevard. Brevard County Utility Services provides sewer service.
